Why go

Brasilito is one of the last ordinary Tico beach villages on this stretch — fishing pangas on the sand, sodas around a dusty plaza — and it shares a bay with famous Playa Conchal, a short walk away.

Where Flamingo and Conchal went upscale, Brasilito stayed a village: boats pulled up on grey sand, kids playing football on the plaza, seafood sodas that price for locals. It's worth a stop for exactly that texture.

The practical draw is position — walk the beach south around the point and you're on Playa Conchal's white shell sand in about fifteen minutes, without paying resort parking. Horseback rides and boat trips also work this bay regularly.

Pickups & logistics

Catamaran and snorkel trips departing the Flamingo area routinely pick up in Brasilito; Tamarindo operators reach it on their northern pickup runs.
