Rincón de la Vieja National Park

Walk the Las Pailas trails past steaming fumaroles and bubbling mud pots, and view the Cangreja and Escondida waterfalls. Gaudy drives, plans the timing around the park's rules, and can add a stop at a private hot-springs facility outside the park afterward.

Hacienda Guachipelín adventure day

Each trip lists the time at the activity separately from the whole outing. The inland days are long: two hours or more each way is normal from Tamarindo.
